Red Pouch, Yellow Pouch

Aakashwani zali......' 2 vajun 15 minitanchi CST la janari dheemi local aaj 15-20 minute late aahe.....'

I waited at the only platform at Chembur station.......

I was at the 'epitome of zenithness' (if that's a word---well even if its not...believe me...i was there!!)

I was going to purchase an external hard drive and a graphic card for my PC at Lamington Road.

The train just swooped by without even stopping (and even though I'm a very rare rail-traveler i guess this does not happen often). Chembur Station was disrespected. heeheeeee

Well, after a few and a few too much vulgarity here and there, everyone started waiting for the next 2:43 to arrive.......

It did arrive at 2:43 IST ( with all the pun intended!)......

In spite of this odd-afternoon hour, it was freakishly crowded ( or maybe I might look at it that way...)

Anyways, me taking advantage of my petit posture swooped my way into the compartment (and with a little advantage of the French I learnt, wrote the last sentence...heheheeee)

Hush! Got a seat! Actually the corner of a seat. Actually a quarter of the corner of a seat! To my ears was 'The Anie's Song' and 'Piano Man'....wonder why I was feeling lonely today......

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a well built man came and stood in front of me selling those zip pouches we buy in trains thinking that they would protect our 10 grant cell phone from 'Mumbai cha Pauss'.

This was weird cause well we're sorta used to seeing handicapped people selling such stuff since being unable for hard labor....

Anyways, even from my noise reduction earplugs, I could hear, '10 10 Rs.'

I just looked up as an instinct, he was glaring at me!

Said,' Boss aapke phone pe fit baithega' which i guess was on seeing my phone clutched in my hand. He looked far from one who would sell Red and Yellow Pouches for a living.....

And then i looked down again.

'Ghya ho Rs.5 '.

I didn't know what to do! How much would he ever earn by selling Red and Yellow Pouches? I was going to buy a graphic card and hard drive for thousands of rupees just for playing games!?!? Just then I saw a polyethylene bag hanging by his finger containing some pens, mobile screen guards hand fans, etc. (this 'etc' was similar to those we write in subjective questions...meant- nothing else!)

Now here I sat at the same quarter of the corner of a seat listening to the announcement 'Pudhil station : Masjid....Agla Station : Masjid....Next Station : Masjid.....', and the epic 'grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr' sound that always happens to come from the compartment where we get in.....looking at the Rs.5 Red pouch in my left hand and the Rs.2 pen in my right which made me write this note.....

There he went making his way through the crowd...'Laal Peela Mobile Pouch....Laal Peela Mobile Pouch.....'
